This notice discloses the privacy practices for TekWorx.Digital (registered as TekWorx Mobile and Web Services), and its ventures TekWorx, TekWorx.Training, AdWorx, and BlogWorx, respectively.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing:

First, we are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only collect information that you voluntarily give us.  This may be via email, bots, registration forms, or other direct contacts from you. So this means, we will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

Second, we will use this information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information outside of our organization, other than to fulfill your request.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you in the future through the email address shared to us by you.  The purpose of which is to tell you about our specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Any information may be used in one of the following ways:

• Process your payment and other incidental requests;
• Improve our website based on information and feedback;
• Conduct marketing activities, and generating consumer insights;
• Maintain records and comply with our legal obligations.

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form.  This also includes the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string will be created from your email address (also called a hash). This may be provided to the Gravatar service to confirm if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile picture will be visible to the public, in the context of your comment.

Media:

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location data from the images on the site.

Contact forms, Surveys, and Contests:

This website stores contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes.  But we may also use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes (e.g. blog posts promotion).

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary.  You may choose whether or not to participate, and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information, and demographic information. Contact information may be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Sharing of data:

We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that identifies any individual.

The use of our website is possible without providing personal data. Personal data, (name, address or eMail addresses) are provided, as far as possible, always on a freiwilliger basis. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.

Data transmission in the Internet (e.g. in the communication by E-Mail) can exhibit security gaps. Hence, complete protection of the data from third parties is not possible.

Use of contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials, is hereby expressly excluded. Data retention:

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize, and automatically approve any follow-up comments, instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data Rights:

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Storage

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. When required or requested, entries submitted to our site are sent to our WordPress database, stored in our web hosting service provider, and safeguarded according to data security standards.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Our company does not collect financial information online directly. We work with online payment service providers, who provide the necessary security as payments get processed on their site.

Your information is also protected offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
